RATTAWU Honors Chief Kenneth Ifekudu With Man Of The Business(Photos)

Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers’ Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU) has honoured the CEO, Diamond Leeds Ltd, High Chief Kenneth Ifekudu (Agbalanze Onyekachukwu na Ozubulu) with the prestigious award of Man of the Year.

Tagged Benefactor of Benefactors, the award is in recognition of his humanitarian activities across the country which have affected the lives of numerous people.

Chief Ifekudu received the prize on Sunday September 24 in Awka, Anambra State.

Chief Ifekudu, who was physically present with his family and loved ones expressed gratitude to the RATTAWU leadership for recognizing what he is doing that touches lives of Nigerians.

He promised that he would continue to stand in solidarity with those less privileged and the neediest citizens of Nigeria’s society.

Chief Ifekudu was in the twilight of the past administration honoured with the award of Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR).

He launched four major projects in Ozubulu, in the Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State, not long ago.

The projects include, construction of Obialigbo lock-up shops, erosion control in most affected parts of the community, road construction in Eziora Ozubulu and lighting up of Ozubulu villages with all-in-one solar-powered street lights.

Chief Ifekudu, at the ceremony, said that projects were one way of thanking his community for giving birth to him and raising him to a level he had reached in life.

He states that, despite its commercial viability, the community is facing several infrastructure challenges and notes that projects are designed to alleviate people’s suffering in Ozubulu.
