Real Madrid battle hard to see- off Real Valladolid with a slim win over their fellow La Liga rival at the Alfredo di Stefano Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Vinicius came off from the bench to rescue Real Madrid in the second half to give Zinedine Zidane’s men the three points.

Real Valladolid was a huge threat to Real Madrid but the likes of Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane ensured the defence was well organised to ward-off Valladilid attackers.

Thibaut Courtois was tested on several occasions but the goalkeeper ensured he kept the second clean sheet of the season in three games.

Real Madrid will be up against Levante on Sunday.
