Real Madrid and Spanish captain Sergio Ramos is on the verge of making history with the Spanish national team.

The defender is about to become the country’s most capped player ever against Norway during the Euro qualifying on Saturday.Ramos,33, is currently on the same record appearance with former Spanish goalkeeper Iker Casillas but the defender is about to move past the legendary goalkeeper this weekend.

He has enjoyed a remarkable international career, winning the World Cup in 2010, as well as the Euros back-to-back in 2008 and 2012 with Spain.Ramos made his debut for Spain in 2005 and since then no going back, he captained the team to the last Euro and World Cup tournament in France and Russia respectively.
