Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos and Dani Carvajal will miss the clash against Alaves on Friday with both players receiving their fifth yellow card during the Sunday clash against Athletic Bilbao.

Real Madrid will have to make provisions for the absence of the defenders with Raphael Varane suffering from concussion after he was hit on the face with a ball against Getafe and Nacho Fernades is still injured.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane will have to turn his attention to Lucas Vazquez who could play at the right back.

Ferland Mendy is could also play at the right-back position, have been tried out in that position this season even though he is left-footed.

Zidane would have to bring out the best option to beat Alaves without the services of Ramos and Carvajal at his disposal on Friday.
