Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has reacted to Karim Benzema’s backheel against Espanyol in their 1-0 victory over the Catalan team in the La Liga.

Casemiro benefited from the ‘Guti-like pass’ to score Los Blancos only goal of the game that saw Real Madrid move two points clear on the La Liga table.

“I’m not surprised by anything Karim does,” Zidane said.
“He’s a player who invents things on the pitch and the control, the backheel and the pass were great.

“It could be one of the moments of the season.”

This was Real Madrid’s fifth win in a row since LaLiga Santander returned to action in June.betpayads

“I’m very happy with my players,” Zidane said.

“Winning game after game isn’t easy.

“I have to congratulate my players.”

Real Madrid will host Getafe in their next La Liga game on Thursday.
