Real Madrid star Casemiro will miss the clash against Real Mallorca on Wednesday at the Alfredo di Stefano Stadium after the Brazilian picked his 10th yellow card of the season in the 2-1 win against Real Sociedad on Sunday at the Reale Arena.

The defensive midfielder was booked in the 22nd minute of the encounter for a challenge on Mikel Merino and he was flashed a yellow card for his rough tackle on the defender.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane will have to provide a solution to the absence of his one of his most reliable midfielders through suspension for the Wednesday game at Estadio Alfredo di Stefano.

Zidane will look into his options to cover up for the Brazilian defensive midfielder, the French tactician could play Fede Valverde in the holding midfield role and Toni Kroos could play the defensive midfield position.
