Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has stirred public attention after reportedly hinting at a possible divorce from her billionaire husband, Ned Nwoko, amid ongoing reports of a marital crisis.
According to Vanguard, the actress took to her Instagram page to share a post that read, “I have a roof over my head and the next is divorce.”
The post has fueled rumours that she might be considering walking out of her marriage.
This comes amid ongoing controversy, in which Ned Nwoko publicly defended his polygamous lifestyle during an interview on Channels TV.
The billonaire politician stated that he feels pity for men with only one wife, comparing monogamy to “standing on one leg.”
“Just imagine telling you to stand on one leg, you know how difficult it is. But it is much more balanced to stand on two, three, or four,” he said.
Ned, who currently has four wives including Regina, maintained that polygamy brings him stability and that he has no regrets about his marital choices.
The couple’s marital crisis reportedly began after Regina Daniels accused Nwoko of domestic violence in a viral video that surfaced online.
In the clip, Regina appeared emotional as she detailed her experience.
Nwoko, however, denied the allegations, insisting he has never been violent toward his wives or children. He described himself as a man who values peace and mutual respect in his family.
It is noteworthy that neither Regina Daniels nor Ned Nwoko has officially confirmed any plans for divorce.
