The outgoing governor of Imo State, His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha has delivered a State-of-the-art Nigerian Police Headquarters as finishing touches are put to the new Imo State Police Command, Avu, Owerri.

The governor who has delivered some of the biggest infrastructural legacies ever done by any governor in Nigeria’s Fourth Republic, boasts of more than 1000 signature projects strewn across the State, that his detractors had recently accused him of minting currencies in his house, as they cannot imagine how Imo State’s meagre allocation could carry these projects.

The new Imo State Police Headquarters joins other federal government projects fully undertaken by the Rescue Mission administration of His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha. The new Nigerian Prisons headquarters, which is also rated as the best in the country, the Imo International Cargo Airport, etc, are among federal government projects that will be handed over to the incoming administration.
