Real Madrid was held to a 2-2 draw against AS Roma in their last pre-season friendly in Marbel Green Cup before the commencement of the La Liga season.

Marcelo scored the opener in the 16th minute and Perotti equalised for the host ain the 34th minute and five minutes later Casemiro made it 2-1 in favour of Real Madrid with from a free header before Edin Dzeko restored parity in the 40th minute of the clash.

The second half witnessed no goal for the entire 45 minutes and the game went on to penalty shootout.Marcelo was the only player to miss from the spot after all the nine players before him converted their spot-kicks.
