Russia Fines Google $2.5 Decillion for Blocking Pro-Kremlin Content

In a bizarre ruling, a Russian court has fined Google a staggering $2.5 decillion rubles (approximately $2.5 trillion trillion trillion) for allegedly blocking pro-Kremlin media outlets on YouTube.

The exorbitant fine stems from a 2020 court order that required Google to reinstate the channels of several Russian state-owned media outlets. When the company failed to comply, the daily fine started at a modest 100,000 rubles but doubled every week, leading to the astronomical figure.
