Kasper Schmeichel has agreed on a move to the French side Nice, according to L’Equipe.

The 35-year-old goalkeeper is set to leave the King Power Stadium after 11 years at the club.

L’Equipe reports that Schmeichel is ready to join Nice if his current English Premier League side can find a replacement.

Brighton goalkeeper, Robert Sánchez could be in line to replace Schmeichel, who is in the final year of his contract.

The goalkeeper is eager to leave on good terms following his lengthy and successful service to the club.

Meanwhile, Chelsea has shifted their attention to Inter Milan star Denzel Dumfries following the difficulties in signing Sevilla defender, Jules Kounde.

Chelsea is said to have failed to meet Kounde’s asking price and now Catalan giants, Barcelona are favourites to secure the France international’s signature.

The Blues have also failed in their pursuit of Nathan Ake from Manchester City and Matthijs de Ligt from Juventus.

The Evening Standard claims Chelsea is now looking at Dutch ace Dumfries.

It is said Inter need to sell one major player this summer with Chelsea keen on wing-back Dumfries and centre-back Milan Skriniar.
