Scores Abducted As Bandits Invade Niger Community

Many residents have been abducted as bandits invaded Daza community in Munya Local Government Area of Niger State.

It was gathered that armed bandits invaded the community around 5pm on Thursday, April 7, shooting sporadically.

Witnesses, who confirmed this to Daily trust, said many residents had fled their homes.

A resident of the community, Nurudeen Isyaku Daza, said the bandits had been operating unchallenged.

“As I speak with you, we cannot tell exact number of people kidnapped because bandits are in the community operating. Many people have fled,” he said.
