A Facebook user, Dbabs Usman has shared photos of a sea cow caught by residents of Niger state.

The residents killed the animal which they plan to use for food.

Sharing photos, Usman wrote:

“BIG Fished was capture at Muregi 

Kuta Eduti,Donbashi Sariki ruwa  known as nangbakun.

I didn’t know the name of the fished but according to some fishers they called it (Cow fish)”
