While nollywood actress, Angela Okorie has been used as a scape goat by some due to her part in the presidential campaign for the ousted Gambian President, Yahya Jammeh she is not the only Nollywood stakeholder who received gifts and favours from the former leader who remained in power for over 20years.

Some top players in the Nigeria movie industry also received lands as gifts in a public ceremony held in Gambia. This had led to an uproar as Movie actors in the west African country along with others around the continent called their Nollywood colleagues beggars for receiving the land gifts at the time.

Few hours after President Barrow final inauguration a list of Nollywood practitioners who received gifts from Yahya has resurfaced online, they include; Francis Duru, Segun Arinze, Monalisa Chinda, Patience Ozokwor, Eucharia Anunobi, Ejike Asiegbu,Tony Umez, Ngozi Ezeonu, Kanayo O Kanayo, Chika Okpala (Zebrudaya) Harry B Anyanwu, Chinedu Ikedieze and Osita Iheme, Rukiat Masud and Ghanaian sultry Actress Jackie Appiah.
