Sen Nwaebonyi speaks on why he lashed out at former Education Minister, Oby Ezekwesili

The deputy spokesperson of the Nigerian Senate, Sen Nwaebonyi, has given reasons he lashed out at former Education Minister, Oby Ezekwesili, at the Senate public hearing into the sexual allegation Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan levelled against Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.

Earlier, a video showing Nwaebonyi and Ezekwesili hurling insults at each other made the rounds on social media.

In an interview with Channels TV this evening, Nwaebonyi said he got angry after Ezekweisli told him to shut up when he wanted to speak. He said he does not regret his action. According to him, ‘’I gave it to her.’’
