Peter Obi shared photos with Kingibe on his Twitter page as he congratulated her.

Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi has celebrated Mrs Ireti Kingibe after she was elected as a senator under the party.

Obi said her election is in keeping with the party’s commitment to women and youth.

He wrote: 

“A very hearty congratulations to Senator-elect Mrs  @ireti_kingibe; the second elected female senator for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja. Her election is in keeping with our commitment to women and youth.
