Senator Natasha hails INEC after electoral body dismissed petition filed for her recall by some persons

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has hailed the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC for dismissing her recall petition filed by some persons. 

In a statement released today, the electoral body argued that “the petition for the recall of the Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District has not met the requirement of the Constitution. Therefore, no further action shall be taken on the matter.”

In a post shared on her IG page this evening, Senator Natasha thanked the electoral body for ‘’doing well”. She thanked her husband, the people of Kogi central and Nigerians in general for standing by her.
