Senator Natasha reacts to allegedly receiving N500 million from Akpabio

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has reacted to reports that she received N500 million from Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.

The member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) refuted claims that she received such an amount of money from Senator Akpabio.

Natasha disclosed further that the allegations were fabricated to tarnish her reputation.

“Let me be clear: I have never received ₦500 million or any amount from Senator Akpabio. “At no time did I make any statement suggesting such. This is nothing but a deliberate falsehood aimed at causing unnecessary controversy,” she declared in a statement.

Senator Natasha disclosed that she has kept her reputation and standard high and wouldn’t do anything to jeopardize it.

“Falsehoods like this are unacceptable. My focus remains on serving my constituents with transparency and dedication, not engaging in baseless distractions”.
