SHEHU SANI, UTCHAY ODIMS INDUCTED INTO THE CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF LEADERSHIP AND GOVERNANCE

The African Leadership and Governance Summit, Award and Induction, organized by the Chartered Institute of Leadership and Governance in USA, has recognised and honoured personalities and institutions that are front-liners in building and implementing leadership/governance skills in the adminstration of duties across Nigeria.

The program which was held yesterday at the National Merit Award House, Maitama, Abuja Nigeria, has honoured outstanding individuals and institutions, who are committed to the vision of improving the overall leadership structure of our nation. One of which is Senator Shehu Sani whose added colour to the epochmaking event.

Our reporters gathered that, the summit, award and induction ceremony commenced successfully, as distinguished personalities in Nigeria and across the globe were present to guest the prestigious occasion.

Amongst the distinguished award recipients is Ambassador Utchay Odims, who was recognised for his advanced innovations and strategic contributions in democratic leadership/governance in Nigeria. Amb. Odims has been an advocate for youth participation in governance and has since been active in campaign for good governance and democratic leadership in Nigeria.

However, his unequivocal impact and commitments has earned him the honour as a “Fellow” at the just concluded 2018 African Leadership and Governance Summit, Award and Induction.

According to the Theme of the program “Strategic Leadership For National Development and Good Governance”, the African Leadership and Governance program initiative raised important discourse and deliberations surrounding issues of strategic leadership that can accelerate the pace of national development and governance across African nations.

Amb. Odims have expressed gratitude to the Chartered Institute of Leadership and Governance, stating that the honour bestowed on him will further motivate and improve his commitments to African leadership and governance.

The Chartered Institute of Leadership and Governance, has overtime displayed her capabilities in bringing about educational and Professional development in Leadership and Governance skills, through programmes that are aimed at preparing and providing leaders with adequate and effective skills to provide solution to our everyday Leadership and Governance problems.

Amongst the major objective of the institute is to provide training in the areas of social and political leadership, governance and public policies, relevant for public life, government administration, social sector, non-profit organizations, corporate sector and common citizens.
