Shooting Near Drake’s Toronto Mansion Sends One to Hospital

Toronto, Canada – A shooting investigation is underway near the Toronto mansion of rapper Drake.

Early Tuesday morning, around 2:00 am, authorities responded to reports of gunfire in the Bridle Path neighborhood, close to Drake’s residence. Police arrived to find a scene with shell casings and a large police presence.

One man was rushed to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Police have confirmed that the victim was not Drake himself.

While the investigation continues, officers have sealed off the area with police tape and are collecting evidence. A suspect fled the scene in a vehicle, and no description has yet been released.

There is no indication at this time that the shooting is connected to Drake’s ongoing rap feud with Kendrick Lamar. Authorities are expected to provide a further update to the media later today.
