Silva In Talks With Lazio After Leaving Man City

David Silva has entered talks with Sere A club Lazio after leaving Manchester City this summer, according to reports in Italy.

The Spaniard is available on a free transfer and many have tipped him for a big money move to Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai or Al-Nasr Dubai in Asia or Major League Soccer (MLS) but the Biancocelesti have moved quickly in a bid to secure his services for the 2020/21 football season.

Reports in Italy claim that the former Valencia midfielder had dinner with Lazio director of sport Igli Tare.

Silva might be open to switch to Serie A as Lazio would offer Serie A football as well as a place in the Champions League, having secured a top four finish.

That would see Silva join fellow Spanish creative midfielder Luis Alberto, winger Jony and defender Patric at Lazio.

Silva served Manchester City for 10 years and in his final season he scored six goals and 11 assists in 38 competitive appearances.
