Singer Mario checks a fan for groping his private area during a recent performance in Detroit (video)

Mario Dewar Barrett, known mononymously as Mario, was forced to caution a fan who grabbed his private area while he was performing on stage.

The American singer was giving an energetic performance and moved close to the edge of the stage where adoring fans were watching him. Soon, a woman with a ring on her wedding finger reaches out and touches his crotch area.

Mario, who was smiling before this happened, suddenly had a change in his expression, and he is seen leaning forward to mildly scold the woman 

The video has sparked criticism for the woman, who appeared to be married. Many said her action is sexual harassment and must be condemned.
