“Single life, here I come” – Michael Ilesanmi of 90 Days Fiancé rejoices as he divorces from caucasian wife Angela Deem

Michael Ilesanmi, the Nigerian man who went viral over his relationship with a white American woman, Angela Deem, is celebrating after their divorce was finalised. 

Michael and Angela had a toxic relationship, right from when they were still dating and this toxicity played out on the TV show 90 Days Fiancé. 

In spite of the warning signs and the age gap, they got married in Nigeria on January 27, 2020. 

Shortly after, Michael began making attempts to join his much older wife Angela in the US. During this period, he swallowed every form of humiliation Angela threw at him. 

However, shortly after he joined her in the United States, he decided that the relationship was too toxic for him and they began the divorce process. 

Taking to Instagram today, March 10, 2026, Michael happily announced in a video that their divorce has been finalised. 

“Yo fam,” he began, chuckling. “Finally, I’m divorced. This is the paper work, that’s the court house there, right here in Hazlehurst Georgia. 

“I want to say thank you to each and every one of you for the love and support. It hasn’t been a easy journey but I want to say thank you to everybody. God bless you all. 

“I’m officially divorced,  thank you Father Lord, thank you. 

“Single life, here I come.”
