Truthfully, everyone can be an artist – it all has to do with expressing creative ideas and the way they are expressed. It is always advised that you do what you love best so studying a form (type) of art that catches your affinity would be great. But don’t be scared to try other medium as well.

Some of the most popular forms (types) of art include; Drawing, Painting, Photography, Printmaking and Sculpting.

• Choose Your Materials.

After your decision on what form (type) of art you want to do, choosing your mediums (materials) becomes an easy task.

Take drawing for example; it is a form (type) of art that is generally created with pencil, pen, charcoal, eraser or crayon.

Art mediums (materials) can range from cheap to very expensive so advisably, start by getting the most basic materials you need otherwise you might end up getting frustrated.

• Practice With Your Materials.

This is the point where you begin to make use of your creative thinking, practicing with your mediums (materials) help create a bond between the user and the mediums (materials).

Practicing also gives a general idea on how to use every single medium (material) and when to use them in your art.

The most important of all is that it not only bond the user and the mediums (materials) but it help get the users closer and closer to perfection.
