Son of former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Mohammed Uwais who joined ISIS is reportedly killed in Syrian airstrike

According to Sahara Reporters, 41 years old son of former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Mohammed Uwais, Ibrahim Uwais who reportedly left Nigeria with his two wives and children in February last year to join the Islamic terror group, ISIS, was killed yesterday May 9th near Aleppo, Syria during an airstrike by the United States targeted at members of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

A source told the Sahara Reporters that Ibrahim was one of numerous Islamist terrorists who perished as US military aircraft bombarded known ISIS camps near the besieged Syrian city of Aleppo.‎

News of Ibrahim joining the terror group broke last year. His father served as the Chief Justice of Nigeria from 1995 to 2006.
