Speed Darlington responds to NAPTiP’s invite, insists viral video was a joke

Singer Darlington Okoye, aka Speed Darlington, is insisting that the controversial video he made in which he claimed he slept with a 15-year-old virgin inside a hotel, was a joke

In the statement addressed to the Director General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, NAPTIP, Speed Darlington stated that as a law-abiding citizen, he has never engaged or contemplated involving himself in any form of s#xual predation.

He added that the video in question, was made for entertainment purposes but has now been blown out of proportion.

Addressing the agency’s request to report to their National Headquarters today, June 2, Speed Darlington said he will only be available to offer more clarity on June 26.
