Countless times I have spotted the likes of Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner and even Rita Dominic swapping their very treasured heels for a pair of comfy sneakers, and the combination was rarely with jeans, the traditional option,skirts, shift dresses and skin-tight dresses made the perfect match. I decided I was going to give this new trend a chance once again.

I say again because over a decade ago, I was a terrible tomboy who accumulated sneakers and converse because they were the simplest things to wear with my boot cut trousers.Overtime, I have swapped those shoes for platform heels and strappy sandals, but I guess the tomboy in me, did not exactly die and the craving for stylish sneakers that I can wear with all my shift dresses, wrap dresses and even midi skirts have been nagging in my thought.

I have come across a few that give me life, and I can only imagine how they will sit beautifully in my shoe rack.
