Super Eagles Defender Added To Chelsea’s Pre-Season Squad

Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo has been included in the Chelsea reserve team’s pre-season tour of France.

Nigeria defender Kenneth Omeruo is in line for a tour of France with the Chelsea reserves as he awaits to know where he will play next season.

A source at the London club told SCORENigeria the Premier League club want to offload Omeruo on a permanent basis after several seasons on loan to various clubs, from Dutch club ADO Den Haag to Turkish clubs Kasimpasa and Alanyaspor most recently.

And the Nigeria international has not been included in the Chelsea first team squad that is presently in Singapore for their pre-season tour

“Chelsea are willing to sell him on a permanent basis now. It’s only if this is not possible that they will consider another loan deal,” a source at Stamford Bridge informed SCORENigeria

Central defender Omeruo has been a Chelsea since July 2012, but he has yet to play an official game for the Premier League champions.

He will now pass some time with the reserves in France until an acceptable offer for Chelsea is received.
