SUPER EAGLES midfielder, Kelechi Nwakali, is set to face disciplinary action from his Spanish club, Huesca, after failing to return to the club nine days after Nigeria crashed out of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

However, according to Spanish media AS, the 23-year-old midfielder was yet to return to the club, who are already running out of patience and are ready to discipline him upon his arrival.

“The Huesca footballer is nine days late and is the only Nigerian player who has not returned to his team,” the website wrote.

“The club tried to transfer him to Burgos without success and a disciplinary fine awaits him.”

The Spanish publication added that Huesca have reportedly had enough of Nwakali’s indiscipline and they were close to selling him to fellow La Liga Smartbank club Burgos on transfer deadline day before the deal collapsed.

“Kelechi Nwakali has done his thing again,” the website added.
