Super Eagles have sent a congratulatory message to Victor Osimhen and Moses Simon for winning Player of the Season Award at both Ligue 1 club of Lille and Nantes.

The 21-year-old Nigeria international beat off competition from Benjamin Andre and Renato Sanches to clinch the individual accolade after scoring 18 goals and provided six assists in 38 appearances across all competitions and his 13 strikes in Ligue 1 was the fourth highest in the division.

However, his fellow countryman Simon polled 40% total 3,500 votes recorded to win the prestigious recognition after he was Nantes’ highest goalscorer with nine goals across all competitions, including five Ligue 1 goals and he registered eight assists as the Kaduna-born star helped Christian Gourcuff’s team to finish 13th in the Ligue 1 table.
