Super Eagles to know 2022 Africa Cup of Nations group opponent on June 25 after 23 national teams qualified for the tournament in Cameroon.
Gernot Rohr’s men were unbeaten as they won Group L with 14 points, while the second ticket in that group will be decided between Benin and Sierra Leone in June.
The three-time African champions sealed a place in Cameroon 2021 last weekend as Super Eagles will be seeded in next year competition after previously third at the last edition in Egypt two years ago and their past records in Afcon.
However, 23 teams have so far qualified for the biennial competition which was postponed to 2022 between January 9 to February 6, 2022 due to the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic.

The last slot will be decided between the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone and Squirrels of Benin Republic in June.
Champions in 1996 South Africa are one of the top teams who failed to make it to the tournament proper, while the little island of Comoros will be among the debutants.
