Super Eagles Training Allowance Increased After Algeria Win
Training camp allowance for the Super Eagles has been increased, officials have disclosed to AfricanFootball.
The amount has been increased from N20,000 to N50,000. This means each player will be paid N350,000 for a week’s camping, ahead of the match against Algeria.
They are also expected to receive $5,000 per player, for the 2-1 victory over Zambia last month.
Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel, also promised to pay the team $10,000 for each goal they scored against the Desert Warriors at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
Nigeria took a big step in their quest to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, after they beat Algeria 3-1 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state.
Victor Moses opened scoring in the first half, after the ball broke kindly to him inside the box. His Chelsea team-mate, John Mikel Obi, made it 2-0 before the break.
The Eagles captain had time and space inside the box after beating the offside trap, to coolly slot past the keeper.
