Suspected cultists kill young man in Port Harcourt

Gunmen suspected to be cultists have killed a young man in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

It was gathered that Akpan, popularly known as Fregene, was shot dead at Rumukalagbor area of Port Harcourt on Wednesday night, November 22, 2023. 

Details of the incident are still sketchy at the time of filing this report but it was gathered that Fregene was heading home after watching a football game when the gunmen who had allegedly been on his trail, shot him twice on the neck at a close range.

Late Akpan hailed from Akwa Ibom state but studied and resided in Port Harcourt.
