Jinjiri said the corpse was suspected to have been killed somewhere and dumped after he suffered attack by unidentified men.

Police in Jigawa State has uncovered corpse of a 25-year-old man identified as Idrith Musa with his one eye plucked out .

The victim was allegedly killed by unknown men.

Spokesperson of the command, SP Abdu Jinjiri confirmed the incident to DAILY POST.

He explained that the corpse was discovered on Monday 16 December 2019 at about 2030 hours after he was killed and abandoned along G9 quarters in Dutse metropolitan.

“The corpse was later found beside sky uncompleted building along G9 quarters area of Dutse metropolitan with his one eye removed,” he stated.

Jinjiri said the corpse was later identified as Idris Auwalu, a 25-year-old man of Madobi village in Dutse local government area through his National Identity card.

He said the corpse was suspected to have been killed somewhere and dumped after he suffered attack by unidentified men.

He said the corpse was examined and confirmed dead by Medical Doctor at Dutse General Hospital and his body was released to his relative for burial and the case now under investigation.
