The assailants allegedly fired gunshots killing the cook before whisking the clergyman to an unknown destination.

A Catholic Priest, Rev Fr Joseph Shekari, has been abducted by suspected terrorists in Chawai, a community in the Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

During the attack, his cook was reportedly killed.

Suspected terrorists have abducted a Catholic Priest, Rev Fr Joseph Shekari, in Chawai, a community in the Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State and also killed his cook during the attack.

According to reports, the assailants stormed the parish house at about 11.30pm on Sunday, February 6. They allegedly fired gunshots killing the cook before whisking the clergyman to an unknown destination.

The assailants are yet to make any contact with the parish house or the family of the abducted clergyman.
