A video has surfaced online showing the moment some travellers took to their heels after a bandit attack on Tegina-Zugero highway in Niger state.

Horns were blaring as travellers fled from the scene.

This is coming after it was reported that the state Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello traveled abroad to seek help over the security issue in his state.

His Chief Press Secretary, Mary Noel Berje said the trip was to explore all possibilities of strengthening the state security architecture.
