They’ve been separated for 30 years – Nigerian lady says her father’s family is dragging her for using her late mum’s maiden name in burial printings

A Nigerian woman, Eniola Adeniji, has revealed that her father’s family members are angry with her because she used her late mother’s maiden name in all the burial printings.

Eniola, who disclosed this in a Facebook post on Wednesday, August 27, said her parents have been separated for over 30 years even before her father’s d3ath.

She further said the family also can’t handle the fact that she is capable of giving her mother a befitting burial without their financial assistance.

“A little humor in the midst of my grieve: My Father’s family dragging my ass because all burial printings has my Mum’s maiden name as her surname.

“They’ve been separated for over 3 decades even before his d3ath, but somehow I’m suppose to put his name as her surname, on her death certificate and burial printings

“It’s obvious they didn’t get the memo, that the woman that they cut off her legs indeed gave birth to a daughter with wings.

“And what’s more annoying for them, ain’t nobody able to bully me about not giving us anything for her burial.

“I cared for her while alive for 15 years and almost 6 years of her sickness (That’s 21 years), I’m perfectly able to give her a befitting burial.”
