A gang of thieves, who robbed a Nigerian man in the early hours of today, have taken to his Facebook page to post updates on the attack

In a post seen on the profile of the man identified as Fadogba Sirkaylex Kehinde, the alleged thieves reportedly stabbed him on the chest and wrote on his page of their action.

The post reads:

Fadogba Sirkaylex Kehinde has been robbed this morning and you can no longer reach out to him. if you care about him, you should know how you will get in touch to him. we hit him with knife at his chest.
goodbye

However most of his friends on Facebook thought it was a prank, but sources close to him reveal that the incident actually happened and the man was already recuperating in the hospital
