Comrade Abasifreke Benson, the President of the Students’ Union Government (SUG) in Akwa Ibom State University, has sparked reactions online following his appointment of thirty personal aides to support his administration.

The appointments were contained in s statement signed by the SUG President himself.

According to him, the individuals were appointed after proper investigation and security checks as well as a confirmation of their zeal towards the union’s growth and development.

The statement added that the appointments were made for the effective and smooth running of the SUG President’s administration.
