Thugs invade APC collation centre in Edo State gubernatorial primary, beat up journalists and destroy equipment (video)

Suspected political thugs on Saturday, February 17, disrupted the primary election of the All Progressives Congress for the governorship election in Edo State. 

According to reports, results from eight local government areas had already been announced when journalists covering the event were alerted to vacate the center of the event at Lushville Hotel and Suite, in GRA, Benin, during live telecast.

Reports revealed that several journalists, including an NTA cameraman and FRCN reporter, were manhandled and their equipment scattered by the thugs who invaded the premises.
