The police said Abdulrahman who is a resident of Gunduwawa, Gezawa LGA reported himself at Fagge Police Division.

A tricycle rider has been hailed after he returned N330k he found on the road.

According to the Kano state police command, the tricycle rider, Bala Abdulrahman returned the money to the police in the Fagge Division of the state on June 19.

The police said Abdulrahman who is a resident of Gunduwawa, Gezawa LGA reported himself at Fagge Police Division, and said that while he was going about his business of riding his Tricycle, he saw a suspicious item in a black leather by the roadside along Kwanar Dawaki in Dawakin Kudu LGA. Abdulrahman picked the money and took it to the police station. An announcement was made for the owner to come forward to claim the money.

In a statement released today June 22, the state police command said a man who claimed to be the owner came forward and after a thorough investigation, the money was handed over to him while Abdulrahman was commended for his honesty and handed a plaque.
