Two Suspected Kidnappers Shot Dead In Kogi

Two suspected kidnappers have been neutralized during a gun battle with the Hunters Council of Nigeria along Okele/Ochadamu road in Kogi State.

The suspects met their waterloo a few days after attempting to kidnap commuters plying the route after the Easter celebration on April 18, before the men of the Nigeria Navy engaged them in a gun battle.

The hunters ambushed the criminal elements after discovering their hideouts in Ochadamu at about 2 am on Wednesday April 20.

Two of suspects who engaged the hunters in a gun duel for over forty minutes died while three others escaped with varying degrees of injuries.
