Premier League giants, Liverpool, are reportedly in line to pocket an eyewatering £106 million if they beat Real Madrid in the Champions League final.
The Reds will come up against Real Madrid in this season’s final of the European football tournament on Saturday, May 28, in Paris.
The clash will be a repeat of the 2017/18 final where the La Liga giants came out on top to win the prestigious title.
With the focus solely on the European trophy ahead of the Saturday night cracker, Liverpool are fully aware that millions of money will also be at stake when they battle the most successful team in the competition.
Daily Mail reports that Jurgen Klopp’s side will be able to bank an estimated £106 million as prize money if they see off Real Madrid.
The figure is about £1 million more than what Chelsea pocketed last season when they beat rivals, Man City, to lift the trophy.

According to UEFA figures for the distribution of prize money published on Twitter by financial analyst Swiss Ramble, the Blues earned £105m after conquering Europe last term, with City taking home £104m.
Other big winners from last season’s campaign include Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain who both received £96m, while Bayern Munich earned £81m.
The Reds’ journey to the final of this season’s Champions League has not been a walk in the park.
Klopp’s men were pooled alongside Atletico, Porto, and AC Milan, and managed to emerge Group B winners after racking up 18 points.

They later faced Inter Milan in the Round of 16, winning 2-1 on aggregate to set up a date with Benfica in the quarter-finals.
The Premier League runners up later came up against Atletico Madrid in the semis who they beat 5-2 on aggregate to set up a date with Real Madrid.
Earlier, Sports Brief reported Michael Owen has backed Liverpool to see off Real Madrid when they meet in the Champions League final.
According to Owen, the Reds have all it takes to down a Real Madrid side who had to overcome PSG, Chelsea, and Man City on their way to the final.
The Saturday encounter will be a repeat of the 2017/18 final when the two heavyweights met in the same competition.
