A UK-based Nigerian woman has shared her view on why Nigerian women often rebel against their husbands after relocating abroad with some even going to the extent of reporting them to the police and other authorities after domestic disputes.

“We all know that a lot of marriages and relationships in Nigeria are abusive. But we all act surprised when they come abroad and the woman start showing you shege! After showing her pepper in Nigeria, what do you expect her to show you here? Love?,” she wrote in a Nigerian UK group page on Wednesday, March 19.
