In keeping with University tradition of hospitality,

the amiable VIce Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka Prof Joseph E Ahaneku FAS and the wife Prof Gladys I. Ahaneku on Jan 1 2018 hosted the Chinese community resident in the University to a new year luncheon at their country home at Ahiazu-Mbaise.

It was also to welcome the new Director of Confucius institute of the University Prof Yu and his wife to Nigeria.

There was enough to eat and drink as the photos show.

Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka has affiliations and thriving partnerships with several top universities in China.

Through our Chinese language progammes the University is training the necessary manpower required to grow Nigeria’s economy.
