Aston Villa are ready to launch a bid for Brentford striker Ollie Watkins – according to Sky Sports.

Sheffield United and Crystal Palace have also been linked with the 24-year-old, who is currently valued at £25 million ($33m).

Dean Smith signed Watkins when he was in charge at Brentford, and believes he would be a big hit in the Premier League.
