LaLiga outfit, Villarreal have joined the list of clubs interested in Nigerian forward, Umar Sadiq.

Sadiq is in hot demand across Europe after spearheading Almeria’s return to the Spanish top flight last season.

The 25-year-old has scored 38 goals in 76 appearances for the Rojiblancos.

Portuguese giants, Benfica, Eredivisie champions, Ajax Amsterdam, Spanish clubs, Sevilla and Valencia have also linked with the lanky striker.

Villarreal have received offer from Premier League club, West Ham United for their star forward, Arnaut Danjuma and have set their sights on Sadiq as a potential replacement.

The Yellow Submarine already has a Nigerian, Samuel Chukwueze in their squad.

Spanish daily, Relevo reported that Almeria will demand €20m for the player.
