Zambia coach, Bruce Nwape is confident his team can finish their campaign at the 2022 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations on a high by claiming third position at the competition.
The Copper Queens will tackle nine-time champions, Super Falcons of Nigeria in the third-place match at WAFCON 2022, on Friday (today) at the Stade Mohamed V, Casablanca.
Nwape’s side conceded a late controversial penalty in their semi-final defeat to South Africa on Monday.
“We gave our all and created chances but we failed to take them and that was a mistake that we paid dearly for in the end,”Nwape told reporters.
“We have put that behind us and now, we want to win the bronze medals for our people.”
The game will kick-off at 9pm Nigeria time.
