Wanted Nigerian journalist, Ahmad Salkida, reportedly released from DSS custody

Ahmad Salkida, a Nigerian journalist known for his access to Boko Haram commanders, was declared wanted in August 2016 by the Nigerian Army in connection with the abducted Chibok girls by terrorist group Boko haram. Salkida, who was on exile in the UAE, was arrested by members of the security forces as he arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, two days ago. He has now been released.
According to Sahara Reporters, a security source revealed to them that Mr. Salkida was very cooperative throughout the time he was in the detention custody of the DSS.
He had informed the DSS in advance that he planned to return to Nigeria after being declared wanted. Salkida was released at 5:30 p.m and reportedly went to stay with some friends in Abuja.
