We Are Not Aware of Any Arrest – Police React to Arrest of Suspected Owo Terror Attackers By Amotekun

The Ondo Police Command has reacted to the arrest of suspected attackers of worshippers at the St Francis Catholic Church, Owo.

Recall that the Ondo State Security Network codenamed Amotekun Corps had said it arrested some persons suspected to be involved in the June 5 terror attack.

Reacting, the Ondo Police Command said it is not aware of the arrest.

The command said it was not involved in the arrest of any suspect even though it works in collaboration with the Amotekun Corps.

Spokesman for Ondo Police SP Fumilayo Odunlami said report of the arrest of suspects in connection to the Owo attack did not emanate from the police.

“That report did not come from us. We are not aware of any arrest,” she stressed.
